SELL Changemaker Fireside Chat with Lee Walker

SELL’s Changemaker Fireside Chats give both UT Students and SELL Fellows a firsthand look into the experience of being a seasoned changemaker in the local Austin community.

Featured Changemaker Lee Walker
Raised in Three Rivers, Texas, Professor Lee Walker began a career in nuclear physics before receiving his MBA from Harvard Business School. He served as President of Dell Computers at its formation before teaching at the University of Texas at Austin where he earned best teaching award three times over. The Austin Chamber of Commerce recognized Lee as the 1998 Austinite of the Year and in 2005, LiveStrong Foundation created The E. Lee Walker Imagination Award, an annual grant of $500,000 to honor individuals working in Community Impact Projects.
